The Tax Consultancy and Tax Law Department advises on domestic and international tax planning and assists clients in dealing with the tax authorities at every stage of the proceedings.

The department’s activities are focused on the following sectors:

CORPORATE TAXES

Tax assistance to Italian companies and Italian branches of foreign companies to support them in their ordinary business management activities and in their strategic and organizational choices. This includes consultancy in direct and indirect taxation, the management of financial and corporate issues, and the preparation of statements on such matters. Tax and corporate consultancy for exceptional transactions such as purchase and sale of shareholdings, companies and business units, mergers, demergers transfers, transformations and liquidations. Complementary and support services and support services such as corporate and tax due diligence, audits, appraisals valuation, corporate governance re-organisation studies as well as valuation of the context in corporate acquisitions.

TAX PLANNING FOR INDIVIDUALS

Assisting individuals in optimising personal taxation, resolution of tax issues related to transfers of residence, financial investments, asset management and protection and generational handover.

TAX DISPUTES

Assistance in all dealings with the offices of the tax authorities by assisting the client during accesses, inspections and audits through the use of the various deflective procedures provided by the law and in the litigation phase throughout the entire process at the Tax Commissions and the Supreme Court.

CORPORATE ASSIGNMENTS

The department’s professionals have significant experience in companies operating in a variety of sectors, holding corporate positions such as members of boards of directors, boards of management, boards of statutory auditors with and without statutory auditors, and supervisory bodies pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001. n. 231/2001.
